Green wood making days

Each month we meet make with green wood and catch up on projects and ideas.

We meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month to work on a mix of self-led and group projects such as stool making, spoon carving, bark stripping, basket making, making shave horses, axe blocks and benches.

We meet at the Elwy Working woods indoor workshop in wintertime and in privately-owned woodland at Pwll-glas, Ruthin, North Wales in summertime.
10.30am-4pm and the fire is always lit.
Cost (summertime free with annual woodland work meet, winter meets £4/£5).

If you are a national bodger’s member from anywhere in the UK, you are welcome to pop in on our meets when in the area, just let us know you are coming. If you are wanting to come along for the first time, see the joining page – Spoon club is a good place to start for a first introduction to the group.

Everybody is responsible for their own safely and site owners / any session organisers will not be held responsible for injury caused to self of others while attending the sessions. If you are not deemed to be safe, you will be asked to either seek professional training before returning or in extreme cases asked not to attend future events.
