Information

Green woodworking by its very nature involves using sharp edge tools in close proximity to one’s body. Working in a group woodland environment brings further safely challenges. We have the following information to help everyone be safe while making together.

Bodgers membership

After three trial meets, we ask regular participants to become members of the Association of  Pole-lathe Turners & Green Woodworkers. This allows for insurance.

Bodgers additional insurance

A 3rd party liability additional insurance scheme is available to support  bodger’s members who wish to promote green woodcraft, through demonstrating and/or teaching with non-powered tools.
